"Diversity is the one true strength

we all have in common.

Let's celebrate it every day."

~ Yvonne Apiyo Brändle-Amolo - CEO, GMPC

We represent 105 million people and counting,

all around the globe.

LOVE FOR EVERYONE

“Each human being, however small or weak, has something to bring to humanity. As we start to really get to know others, as we begin to listen to each other’s stories, things begin to change. We begin the movement from exclusion to inclusion, from fear to trust, from closedness to openness, from judgment and prejudice to forgiveness and understanding.”

– Maya Angelou

The Summit of the Future 2024 marked a pivotal moment for global cooperation, offering a unique opportunity to address critical challenges and bridge gaps in global governance. This event, recognised as a once-in-a-generation occasion, aimed to reaffirm existing commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Charter while charting a path towards a reinvigorated multilateral system capable of positively transforming people's lives globally. With growing members across Europe, the United States, and Africa, the Global Minority Parliamentarians Caucus (GMPC) emerged as a significant contributor, bringing diverse perspectives from minority communities across these continents to the table. The unique insights and experiences of the GMPC members shaped the Summit's discussions and outcomes, as they offered fresh ideas and innovative approaches for more effective global cooperation. By actively involving the GMPC, Member States can lay the groundwork for a truly inclusive and equitable future capable of addressing current challenges and emerging threats that may jeopardise our progress.
